According to the security researchers at Zscaler (a cloud security company), malware distributors are exploiting security flaws in news.com.au, lawyer.com, appleinsider.com and many other legitimate websites to thrust fake antivirus software on unwitting computer users.
PandaLabs, the malware analysis and detection laboratory of Panda Security, has recently published computer threats it predicted for 2010, as reported by PRNewswire on December 16, 2009.

Thousands of Idahoans have received e-mails informing them about their frozen bank accounts and asking for personal information. According to the Better Business Bureau, this phishing scam has victimized around 100 users from Eastern Idaho.
Security researchers have issued a warning that cyber criminals have recently launched spam campaigns wherein audio files along with advertising material are sent to people via e-mails. These spam mails (neither a subject line nor a body text, but just an MP3 file attached) are making the rounds in huge amounts, the researchers alerted.
