Security firm 'Imperva' has found an SQL injection flaw in Yahoo! jobs site. SQL injection is an attack in which harmful code is pierced into strings which are later transmitted to an instance of SQL server for parsing and implementation.

A new Microsoft's 'Security Intelligence Report', which is based on systems installed with its Malicious Software Removal Tool, has stated that almost 3.9 out of every 1000 PC systems in Australia contain some kind of malware, lesser than the worldwide average of 8.7.

A fresh malicious e-mail campaign is reportedly aiming attack against a financial transfer system that transacts trillions of dollars every year. The campaign has proved extremely lucrative target for online fraudsters, as reported by PCWorld dated November 13, 2009.

According to security researchers at Sophos, an e-mail campaign is currently spamming messages to spread a fresh variant of Zbot. The e-mail messages attempt to dupe recipients into clicking on malicious attachments and downloading malware. The attachments apparently pretend to be records with which users may check the balance in their accounts.
