Symantec - Compromised Computers Sent 90% of Spam PDF Print E-mail

As per the report by Symantec's Hosted Services, MessageLabs, five to six million compromised computers, which are linked to form botnets, sent 120 Billion junk emails, which made up 90% of all of the daily spam, in the first half of 2010.

IT security company 'Sophos' has released its recent report about the leading twelve spam relaying countries for the second quarter of 2010 (Q2-2010). As per the report, the USA continued to dominate as spam polluter with 15.2% of total spam messages - a rise of 13.1% in Q1-2010.
